Dr. Chrisette Dharma

Founder & Medical Director

Dr. Chrisette Dharma completed her residency at St. Paul’s Hospital in Dallas in 1999 and built her practice into the esteemed Southwest Family Medicine Associates. Recognized for her commitment to innovative healthcare, SFMA was awarded "medical home" status by the NCQA. She also holds multiple board positions in the medical field and is an associate clinical faculty member at UT Southwestern. Dr. Dharma is passionate about comprehensive healthcare, establishing an on-site wellness center in 2014. Outside of work, she enjoys cross-fit and spending quality time with her family.

Dr. Safia Shaikh

Lead Clinical Research Director

Dr. Safia Shaikh, a pulmonology residency graduate, has published clinical research findings in international journals. With experience in healthcare outreach in both Pakistan and the USA, she joined the clinical research field in 2014. Dr. Shaikh is dedicated to providing cost-effective health solutions, improving patient outcomes, and educating vulnerable communities. She has also worked to spread healthcare awareness, including educating refugee communities on preventing diseases like Ebola.

Dr. Albina Tatarintseva

Operations and QC Lead

As an Ops and QC Lead, I enjoy making sure clinical research is done correctly and safely, ensuring the integrity and compliance of clinical trials, contributing to the safety and well-being of patients.

Dr. Abeer Latif

Operations and QC Lead

I’m passionate about improving health through clinical trials, ensuring protocol compliance, and serving as a liaison between patients and investigators. I manage patient follow-ups, data entry, and lab samples, contributing to healthcare advancements alongside dedicated professionals.

Chika Mordi

Research Manager

What inspires me as a Research Manager is the ability to lead teams to ensure trials are executed efficiently and in compliance with GCP standards, building relationships with stakeholders, collaborating with cross-functional teams, problem solving and finding strategic solutions to challenges in Clinical Research.

Lashonda Brown

Regulatory Specialist

My role as Regulatory Specialist means that I am responsible for collecting all regulatory documentation, all correspondence from the sponsors and the Independent Review Boards (IRBs) and maintaining the Investigator Site Files (ISF). I enjoy clinical research because I am able to see health improvement in patients and I get to be a part of future medicine.

Fatima Abdalrahman

Operations and QC Lead

As an Outreach Specialist, I appreciate and enjoy how clinical research combines science and human experience to improve public health. It directly contributes to developing new treatments, therapies, and diagnostic tools, enhancing patient outcomes and quality of life.

Dr. Sadaf Sachwani

Clinical Research Data Specialist

My role for the site is to provide resources to capture high-quality data according to ALCOA. Designing the source and providing the tools for the Electronic capture of data for the site can bring credibility to the clinical data collected by the site. The best thing I like about my job is that I can provide more reliable research outcomes by eliminating the need for manual data entry from paper records which leads to increased efficacy, reduced costs, and enhanced data integrity throughout the research process for future studies. I can be part of building a bridge between Technology and Research and Modernizing Clinical Trials.

Mihret Assefa

Clinical Research Coordinator

As a CRC, my main role is enrolling and conducting research visits according to the protocol SOA along with others. What I Like about the role is I get to communicate with patients and connect with them at a certain level, which plays a big factor in resonating and understanding them. I also like my role because it gives me some time to work on things individually by myself. Additionally, CRC role increases the skill of detail orientation which is essential in order to learn something new and avoid protocol deviations.

Manasa Ganti PharmD

Clinical Research Coordinator

My role involves collaborating with patients, physicians, and research teams to ensure the smooth progression of my assigned studies, and timely collection of data and entering the same into the EDC and making sure the patients are compliant to their specific studies.
I love working in this environment because I get to directly contribute to groundbreaking
research while improving patient care. The fast-paced, dynamic nature of my work keeps me
motivated and passionate.
